Primary title (standardized): Business Development Manager - Enterprise Sales
About The Opportunity
A leader operating in the cloud communications and customer-experience (contact center / VoIP) SaaS sector, delivering enterprise-grade voice, CX, and cloud contact-center solutions. We seek a results-driven on-site Business Development Manager based in India to grow strategic accounts, accelerate new logo acquisition, and drive revenue across enterprise and mid-market segments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own full sales cycle for assigned territory: prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close enterprise and mid-market SaaS & cloud communications deals.
- Develop and execute territory plans to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and pipeline velocity metrics.
- Work cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Success to craft tailored proposals, lead technical demos, and ensure smooth handoffs post-sale.
- Manage CRM rigorously—track opportunities, forecast performance, and maintain accurate records for pipeline hygiene and management reporting.
- Drive outbound lead generation via targeted outreach, account mapping, RFP responses, and relationship-building with key decision-makers (CX, IT, Ops).
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts; close deals while protecting margin and ensuring long-term customer success.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven B2B enterprise sales experience in SaaS, cloud communications, or contact-center solutions.
- Track record of meeting/exceeding quota and managing multi-stage enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong experience with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline management.
- Ability to run technical sales demos and collaborate with pre-sales/solutions engineering teams.
- Comfortable handling RFPs, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management across CX/IT/Operations.
- Willingness to work on-site in India with periodic travel to customer locations.
Preferred
- Existing relationships within contact-center, BPO, or CX tech buyer communities in India.
- Experience selling to enterprise accounts across BFSI, e-commerce, or telecom verticals.
- Familiarity with cloud telephony, WebRTC, or CPaaS platforms.
