Job Description – Business Development Manager

Company: Home Health Care Pvt. Ltd.

Department: Sales & Marketing / Business Growth

Reporting To: Director / General Manager

Location: Kolkata

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the organization by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with hospitals, doctors, corporate clients, and other healthcare partners, and promoting home healthcare services such as nursing care, physiotherapy, elder care, post-operative care, and medical equipment rental.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Sales

- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, corporates, insurance companies, and individual clients.

- Generate leads and convert them into long-term partnerships or service contracts.

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

2. Relationship Management

- Maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospital management, discharge planners, and referral partners.

- Build and manage relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

- Develop corporate tie-ups for employee wellness and home healthcare programs.

3. Market Research & Analysis

- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify potential areas for business expansion.

- Provide regular feedback to management on market conditions and business opportunities.

4. Team Collaboration

- Work closely with the marketing, operations, and clinical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

- Train and support field executives and business development executives to achieve their goals.

5. Reporting & Compliance

- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

- Ensure all client documentation and agreements comply with company and healthcare regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field. MBA preferred.

- Experience: 3–6 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in healthcare, hospital, or home healthcare industry.

- Skills:

 • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

 • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities

 • Strategic thinking and target-driven attitude

 • Knowledge of local healthcare ecosystem

 • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Monthly and quarterly revenue targets achieved

- Number of new partnerships or tie-ups created

- Client satisfaction and retention rates

- Market share growth in assigned territory
