Job Description

Position Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Science City, Ahmedabad
Salary Range: ₹5.5 – ₹8.0 LPA
Experience Required: 7–9 Years (preferably in Cosmetics or Pharmaceutical industry)
Educational Qualifications: MBA (Marketing), M. Pharma, or a relevant field

Role Objective:

Lead and drive business development initiatives across domestic and international markets by building a strong client pipeline, achieving revenue growth, expanding key strategic accounts, and implementing best practices for client acquisition, retention, and market development. The role requires strong leadership, team handling, problem-solving skills, and a strategic approach to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets for both domestic and international markets in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Drive new business development through market scanning, proposal creation, and proactive cold outreach.
  • Generate new leads, manage key accounts, and handle client pricing discussions and negotiations effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Production, QA/QC, and Dispatch to ensure smooth order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze and optimize the sales cycle to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and increase conversion rates.
  • Actively maintain and update CRM systems for tracking leads, client communication, and sales pipeline management.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team to meet individual and collective targets.
  • Identify and solve operational and client-related challenges with a strategic and problem-solving mindset.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to align business development strategies accordingly.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new business processes and BD best practices.

  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, business development processes, and sales automation systems.

Ability to drive business growth while ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
