Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, possessing a strong personality, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for building lasting client relationships. This role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and contributing significantly to our revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients and new market opportunities through various channels, including online research, networking, cold calling, and industry events. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads. Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Initiate contact with potential clients through calls, emails, and professional networking to introduce our products/services. Conduct initial needs assessments to understand client challenges and requirements. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients. Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, technical, marketing) to develop customized solutions and proposals. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements effectively. Market Research & Strategy: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business avenues. Provide feedback to management on market demands and customer preferences to help refine product/service offerings. Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve targets. Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasting, and market feedback. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. (MBA is a plus). Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the IT/Media/OTT/Telecom industry i, B2B services, etc. sector. Personality & Communication: Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong Interpersonal Skills: Natural ability to connect with people, build rapport, and establish trust. Confident and Dynamic Personality: Outgoing, charismatic, and enthusiastic with a professional demeanor. Active Listener: Ability to understand client needs and objections thoroughly. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Desirable Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will have an added advantage
