Job Description

Role Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the sales team, enhancing sales strategies, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2C sales dynamics, be proactive in coaching and mentoring, and be analytical in identifying areas of opportunity. This role requires close coordination with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achievement of revenue goals. Key Responsibilities: Sales Team Management: * Supervise and monitor daily activities of the sales team. * Track performance metrics and KPIs of Sales Executives. * Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and coaching. Sales Strategy & Execution: * Continuously evaluate and refine sales pitches to improve customer engagement and conversion. * Ensure consistent implementation of best practices across the team. Talent Development: * Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor sales executives to meet individual and team targets. * Build a strong performance-driven culture within the team. Collaboration & Enablement: * Work with the marketing team to co-develop sales enablement content, tools, and campaigns. * Align sales objectives with marketing outreach and lead generation efforts. Data Analysis & Reporting: * Analyze sales data to identify trends, performance gaps, and strategic opportunities. * Prepare and present regular reports on forecasts, budgets, and outcomes to senior leadership. Market Intelligence: * Track competitor activities and market trends. * Adapt and refine sales strategies based on external insights and internal performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field * 2+ years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles. * Strong analytical and reporting skills. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
