The Role: Drive Growth and Market Expansion

Business Developer

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research & Strategy:

    Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new markets, industry trends, and potential customers for our EVA foam products (yoga mats, interlock tiles, industrial components, etc.).
  • New Client Acquisition:

    Proactively generate leads, cold-call, and network to secure new OEM/ODM clients and large-scale distributors/retail chains, domestically and globally.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Sales Execution:

    Develop compelling business proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Product & Value Proposition:

    Work closely with the internal manufacturing and product teams to understand our capabilities and effectively communicate the value and quality of AFI's customized foam solutions.
  • Reporting:

    Track all sales activities, pipeline status, and market findings, providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Representation:

    Represent AFI at industry events, conferences, and trade shows (both in India and abroad) to build the company's network and profile.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Proven track record (4+ years) in Business Development, Sales, or a similar growth-focused role, preferably within the

    manufacturing, plastics, sports goods, or OEM/ODM industry.

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English (Knowledge of other Indian or International languages is a significant advantage).
  • Skills:

    Strong strategic thinking, a results-oriented mindset, and an ability to work independently to manage and prioritize a high volume of opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Attitude:

    Must be a self-motivated team player with a willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business trips.
