Role Description

This full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role is based in Mumbai. The individual will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and strengthening partnerships with suppliers. Key responsibilities include market research, generating leads, developing strategies for revenue growth, negotiating contracts, and managing key accounts. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery and contributing to the company’s expansion efforts are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and strategic planning skills, including identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and building partnerships
• Excellent negotiation, client relationship management, and account management skills
• Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and understanding global trends in the chemical industry
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders
• Proven experience in the chemical, trading, or related industries is a significant advantage
• Significant understanding of industrial applications and procurement processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
