The Role: Business Development Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and independent Sales & Business Development Managerto join our founding team. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, outreach, and onboard local experts onto our platform. This is a crucial role that directly contributes to our product's core value.

This is not a typical sales roleyoull be building the foundation of our expert network from the ground up. You should be passionate about our mission and thrive in a high-autonomy, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management:

    Lead by example and manage team members for building local expert network.
  • Expert Sourcing:

    Do online research, Identify, source and onboard high-quality local experts to join our platform.
  • Outreach & Onboarding:

    Conduct proactive outreach campaigns via phone and other communication channels to engage potential experts. Guide them through the onboarding process, from initial contact to successful profile creation.
  • Relationship Building:

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with experts, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Strategy & Optimization:

    Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to refine our expert acquisition strategy. You'll play a direct role in shaping our business development playbook.
  • Performance Tracking:

    Maintain detailed records of your and team's outreach efforts, conversion rates, and expert feedback to track performance and inform strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Sales Experience:

    You have 2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or similar role. Experience with

    phone/voice channels

    is essential.
  • Proven Leadership:

    You should have managed other employees leading them in their work, setting their goals and performance reporting.
  • Hunter Mentality:

    You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability:

    You are excited by the challenges of a startup and are willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities as the company evolves.
  • Strong Communicator:

    You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Problem-Solver:

    You are independent and resourceful, able to solve problems and drive initiatives without constant supervision.
  • Ownership:

    Willing to do whatever is necessary to help the company succeed including contribution and learning peripheral areas like marketing as needed.
  • Spoken Languages:

    The number of languages you can speak fluently adds weight to your candidature.
