Job Description

Role: Business Development Intern - Full time Role

Duration: 6 Months - PPO Available

Location: MSSU I-Spark Foundation Incubator Vidyavihar

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Intern at Oohpoint, you won’t just handle outreach and lead generation, you'll also work on strategy, market research, and growth initiatives, making tangible contributions to scaling an AdTech startup.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Lead & Research

Identify potential clients (brands, agencies, vendors, colleges).
Research industry trends, competitors, and new partnership opportunities.
Build and maintain lead databases.

Outreach & Networking.

Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn.
Schedule meetings and demos for senior team members.
Participate in networking events or campus visits if required.

Sales & Pitching Support

Create and send proposals, presentations, and pitch decks.
Assist in product demos and explain Oohpoint’s value proposition.
Follow up with leads and track pipeline progress.

Relationship Management

Maintain regular communication with clients and vendors.
Support onboarding of new partners (vendors, colleges, or brands).
Gather feedback and share with internal teams.

Skills Required

Strong communication & presentation skills.
Confidence in calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or business development.
Ability to research, analyze, and organize leads.
Tools knowledge: Excel/Google Sheets, CRM (if used), PPT/Canva.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis.
Suggest and test new business models and pricing strategies.
Prepare ROI & performance analysis reports for campaigns.
Draft strategic proposals for large brand partnerships and college networks.
