The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Intern to join our team in Kolkata. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in B2B client acquisition, market research, and lead generation. You will support our leadership team in building and managing a strong client pipeline, developing outreach campaigns, and contributing to Cordial’s growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients across key sectors (SaaS, E-commerce, Fintech, Professional Services, etc.).
• Identify decision-makers and maintain accurate prospect lists using CRM tools and LinkedIn.
• Draft and send outreach messages, follow up on leads, and schedule discovery calls.
• Support in preparing proposals, presentations, and capability documents.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align messaging and outreach strategies.
• Track and analyze outreach performance to optimize conversion rates.

Qualifications

• Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata for the duration of the internship.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with LinkedIn, email communication, and online research tools.
• Proactive, organized, and eager to learn about business growth and client relationships.
