Position: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Institute: Trigya Eduventure, Chandigarh (SCO 348‑349, Sector 34A, Chandigarh)
Covering Regions: Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Reports To: Business Development Manager / Head – Sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential students, schools, tuition centers, and coaching hubs across Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.
  • Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct cold calling, WhatsApp/SMS campaigns, and local outreach to generate inquiries and appointment leads.
  • Client Counseling & Pitching: Organize and lead presentations, counsellor calls, and demos to students and parents; effectively articulate the institute’s value proposition.
  • Partnership Development: Establish collaborations with school principals, tuition centers, student communities, and local event organizers.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a CRM pipeline; record interactions, follow-up schedules, and status updates diligently.
  • Conversions & Closing: Achieve lead-to-enrollment conversion targets through negotiation, follow-up, and persuasive communication.
  • Regional Travel: Regular travel within the assigned states for events, fairs, sales meetings, and field outreach.
  • Event Support: Assist coordination for open houses, webinars, workshops, and township seminars.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, regional education trends, and awareness channels to refine outreach strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly/monthly performance reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to guide BD strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in business development, inside sales, or lead generation—preferably in education, coaching, or training sectors.
  • Skills Required:
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Zoho CRM, HubSpot) and MS Office.
  • Confidence with cold calling, public speaking, and objection handling.
  • Self-starter mindset; target‑driven and result-oriented.
  • Ability to travel frequently and adapt to fieldwork demands.
  • Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Chandigarh / Tricity education ecosystem.
  • Exposure to higher‑education marketing, student fairs, or backend admin for test-prep institutes.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Number of qualified leads generated across the three states.
  • Conversion rate from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Revenue and enrollment targets achieved region-wise.
  • Growth in DSA/partnership collaborations with schools and centers.
  • CRM data quality, follow‑up effectiveness, and forecast accuracy.
  • Contribution to event attendance and workshop footfall.
