Job Title: Business Development Associate (BDA)- IT Sales Department: Sales & Business Development Location: Rajarhat, Kolkata 700135 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Industry: IT Services & Consulting CTC: Rs.3.5-4.5LPA Role Overview: We are hiring a highly motivated BDA to be the frontline of our sales engine in the Kolkata region. This role is responsible for managing existing customer relationships and actively generating new business opportunities within the IT B2B space. A blend of strong communication skills, basic technical knowledge, and a commitment to achieving sales targets is required. Key Responsibilities: Solution Promotion: Actively promote and sell the company's core solution portfolio, including Servers, Storage, Networking Products, Cloud Solutions, Firewalls, and Endpoint Security solutions, to both existing and new accounts. New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads for the full range of IT solutions across target enterprises. Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with existing customers for retention and expansion. Sales Cycle Support: Assist the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal submission and closure. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal technical teams and OEM/Distributor partners for effective solution positioning. Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate account, lead, and pipeline data in CRM tools. Prepare sales reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint. Communication: Exhibit excellent professional communication, active listening, and objection handling skills. Candidate Profile: Mandatory Essentials (Non-Negotiable) Experience: Minimum six (6) months of sales experience in IT Products or IT Service Sales within an IT System Integration/Reseller Company. (Internship experience is acceptable). Language: Mandatory excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Location: Must reside within commutable distance to the Greater Kolkata Area, India. Tool Usage: Hands-on experience using CRM tools and structured lead tracking methods. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Commerce, or related fields. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered. Preferred Attributes (Strongly Desired) Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of core IT infrastructure and security products (e.g., Firewalls, Backup solutions). Sales Attributes: Confident phone presence with the ability to engage IT decision-makers. Soft Skills: Strong listening skills, disciplined follow-up, and organized work habits. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the IT partner ecosystem (OEM – Distributor – Partner – Customer). Education: MBA is considered an advantage.
