Role Overview

We are hiring a highly motivated BDA to manage existing customer relationships and actively generate new business opportunities within the IT B2B space in the Kolkata region. This role requires a blend of strong communication skills, basic technical knowledge, and a commitment to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management:

    Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with existing customers for retention and expansion.
  • New Business Development:

    Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads for IT infrastructure and security solutions (Servers, Storage, Networking, Cloud, Firewalls, Endpoint Security).
  • Sales Cycle Support:

    Assist the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal submission and closure.
  • Collaboration:

    Coordinate with internal technical teams and OEM/Distributor partners for effective solution positioning.
  • Reporting & CRM:

    Maintain accurate account, lead, and pipeline data in CRM tools. Prepare sales reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication:

    Exhibit excellent professional communication, active listening, and objection handling skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience:

    Minimum

    six (6) months of sales experience

    in

    IT Products or IT Service Sales

    within an

    IT System Integration/Reseller Company

    . (Internship experience is acceptable).
  • Language:

    Mandatory excellent verbal and written communication

    in

    English, Hindi, and Bengali

    .
  • Location:

    Must reside within commutable distance to the Greater Kolkata Area, India.
  • Tool Usage:

    Hands-on experience using

    CRM tools

    and structured lead tracking methods.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of core IT infrastructure and security products (e.g., Firewalls, Backup solutions).
  • Confident phone presence with the ability to engage IT decision-makers.
  • Strong listening skills, disciplined follow-up, and organized work habits.
  • Understanding of the IT partner ecosystem (OEM Distributor Partner Customer).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Technology, Science, Commerce, or related fields.
  • Fresh graduates with demonstrable internship experience in IT sales may be considered.
  • MBA is an advantage.
