Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven

Business Development Associate

to join our team and drive growth in the EdTech content services domain. This role focuses on promoting customized educational content solutions—such as eLearning modules, animations, storyboards, assessments, PPTs, and video lessons—to educational institutions, publishers, EdTech startups, and corporate learning teams.You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, pitching content development services, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to the company’s revenue objectives.

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients (EdTech companies, schools, publishers, coaching centers, and corporates).
  • Generate new business leads through email campaigns, cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and attending industry events.
  • Understand client requirements related to content creation (K12, higher education, vocational training, etc.).
  • Pitch customized content development services (eLearning videos, curriculum design, instructional design, etc.)
  • Conduct virtual or in-person presentations and product demos to decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, design, and project managers) to create proposals and quotations.
  • Handle negotiations and close deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on EdTech trends, digital learning formats, and competitors' offerings.
  • Share client feedback with internal teams to align services with market demand.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, eLearning, or content services.
  • Strong understanding of educational content formats and digital learning trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into creative solutions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience selling services like curriculum design, video content, storyboards, or LMS integration.
  • Exposure to different educational boards (CBSE, ICSE, state boards, IB, etc.).
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and media formats.
