Sales Team Lead


Role Overview

Sales Team Lead

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to ensure the sales process is predictable, data-driven, and aligned with client goals.


Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of closers and business development associates.
  • Conduct daily check-ins, review performance dashboards, and ensure achievement of KPIs.
  • Create a positive, performance-driven sales culture.

2. Sales Operations & Performance

  • Personally handle key inbound and outbound sales calls.
  • Drive conversions for high-ticket services (₹90,000+ products or services).
  • Implement and maintain CRM tracking and reporting systems for all leads and team activities.

3. Strategy & Execution

  • Work with the leadership team to improve the sales funnel, scripts, and qualification processes.
  • Identify gaps in team performance and design actionable improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure lead quality and follow-up systems are strong.

4. Reporting & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Analyze data and provide insights for revenue forecasting.
  • Ensure consistent follow-ups, pipeline updates, and CRM hygiene.

Key Requirements

  • Experience:

    3–6 years in sales; minimum 1–2 years managing a sales team.
  • Industry Background:

    EdTech, Coaching, or High-Ticket Consulting (preferred).
  • Track Record:

    Proven success in meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets.
  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent).
  • Data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Confidence in handling objections and high-ticket closings.
