Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Associate to join our sales team in Delhi. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our market presence by building relationships with healthcare professionals, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales of our medical devices. The ideal candidate is a sales enthusiast with a "can-do" attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the healthcare industry. This position requires fieldwork, data management, and a results-oriented mindset to achieve targets and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Outreach and Relationship Building: Conduct regular visits to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities in Delhi and nearby regions to promote our medical devices, demonstrate product features, and understand client needs.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
  • Data Preparation and Maintenance: Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate data on client interactions, market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance using CRM tools and databases. Generate reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the medical device sector to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and address client feedback.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, company policies, and ethical standards during client interactions and sales activities.

Qualifications and SkillsRequired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with medical professionals.
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., MS Excel, CRM software like Salesforce).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Delhi and surrounding areas (valid driver's license preferred).
  • A genuine zeal for sales, a positive "can-do" attitude, and resilience in a competitive environment.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in medical device sales or knowledge of healthcare regulations in India (e.g., CDSCO guidelines).
  • Familiarity with Delhi's healthcare landscape, including key hospitals and medical networks.
  • Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or healthcare-related fields.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and device functionalities.
