Job Description

  • Prospecting and lead generation: Actively research, identify, and qualify new leads and potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both prospective and existing clients. Address client inquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Sales support and deal closure: Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients. The associate may also assist senior team members in negotiating and closing deals.
  • Market research and analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to help identify new growth opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Sales administration: Manage and update client information and interactions within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Reporting and analytics: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as lead generation volume and conversion rates, to inform management and sales strategy.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and product, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client needs.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, or a related field is typically desired. Relevant internships may also be considered.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective pitching and client engagement.
  • Interpersonal skills: A friendly, personable demeanor and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is generally required.
  • Organizational skills: Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Goal-oriented mindset: A proactive and results-driven attitude focused on meeting sales targets and organizational objectives.
