Business Analyst

What this job involves:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing critical support to the business. With 6-8 years of experience, the Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting complex data, generating insights, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth and operational excellence. This role requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction and project management environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analysis of financial and operational data, identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Generate accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Managing Director, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows to support strategic initiatives.
Assist in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize business performance, increase efficiency, and drive profitability.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and provide regular updates to the Managing Director on business performance and areas for improvement.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the construction and project management industry.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide input on business strategy, goals, and objectives.
Provide support in preparing business proposals, presentations, and other documentation for clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Stay updated with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to the construction and project management industry.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned by the Managing Director.

Graduation in any stream.
6 to 8 years of post graduation experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the construction and project management industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and statistical tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Efficient in using dashboard and AI tools.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Knowledge of construction and project management concepts, processes, and industry trends is a plus.
