Branch Manager
with a strong background in
Loan Against Property (LAP)
and
Mortgage Loan products
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving branch operations, leading the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business targets. This role requires a deep understanding of mortgage and LAP products, credit appraisal, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, along with proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales of Loan Against Property and Mortgage Loans through branch activities, lead generation, and market outreach.
- Build strong relationships with customers, channel partners, DSAs, and other stakeholders to increase business volumes.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual disbursement and revenue targets.
- Branch Operations & Team Management
- Manage overall branch functioning including sales, credit, operations, and customer service.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, relationship managers, and operations staff to achieve collective business objectives.
- Monitor daily activities, productivity, and performance of the branch team, ensuring adherence to company policies and processes.
- Credit & Risk Management
- Evaluate customer profiles for loan eligibility through analysis of financial statements, property documents, income proofs, and credit reports.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with credit and risk teams to minimize delinquency and maintain high portfolio quality.
- Customer Relationship & Service Excellence
- Provide end-to-end guidance to customers on LAP and Mortgage products, documentation, and disbursement process.
- Handle escalations, resolve queries promptly, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions to strengthen customer loyalty and retention.
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI/NBFC guidelines, internal compliance policies, and branch audit standards.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and MIS reports for management review.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Loan Against Property (LAP) and Mortgage Loan products.
- Excellent understanding of credit appraisal, loan structuring, risk analysis, and property valuation.
- Proven experience in branch management, preferably in BFSI/NBFC sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to handle customers and channel partners.
- Ability to drive sales targets while maintaining compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in banking/financial services, with a minimum of 2 years in LAP/Mortgage Loan sales and branch operations.
- Prior experience in team handling and revenue generation at a branch level will be an advantage.
