Required Skills:Leadership & team management Strong communication skills Problem-solving & decision-making Inventory & operations management Customer service orientation Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Billing software) Key Responsibilities of a Branch Manager Overall Branch Operations: Supervise all day-to-day activities of the branch. Ensure smooth functioning of sales, billing, inventory, and customer service. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper display of products. Team Management: Manage and guide branch staff including salesmen, cashiers, and helpers. Assign daily duties and ensure staff productivity. Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance. Conduct training sessions to improve team efficiency. Sales & Target Achievement: Plan and execute strategies to achieve monthly sales targets. Promote products and schemes to customers and institutions. Handle major clients and walk-in customers efficiently. Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment. Prevent stock-outs or overstock situations. Conduct regular stock checks and audits. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively. Build long-term customer relationships. Reporting & Coordination: Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, expenses, and stock. Report to Head Office about branch performance and challenges. Coordinate with other departments (Accounts, HR, Purchase, etc.) Cash Handling & Billing Supervision: Oversee daily cash collections and ensure proper deposit. Supervise billing process and ensure accuracy. Compliance & Discipline: Ensure branch follows company policies and procedures. Maintain records for audits and inspections. Enforce punctuality, grooming, and staff code of conduct.
