Branch Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive equity, derivatives, and mutual funds sales through the branch.
• Acquire new clients (retail & HNI) and expand the existing client base.
• Achieve business targets for brokerage revenue, client activation, and investment product sales.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities in wealth management products.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Resolve escalated client issues promptly.
• Conduct client engagement activities and investor awareness programs.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations.
• Adhere to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure proper KYC documentation and compliance for all client accounts.
• Monitor risk management policies and margin requirements.
• Recruit, train, and develop branch staff including equity dealers and relationship managers.
• Motivate and monitor performance to ensure achievement of branch business goals.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members.
• Regularly review branch performance against set targets.
• Submit timely reports on business, compliance, and operational parameters to management.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of stock markets, equity, derivatives, and investment products.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Stock Broking industry and 5 years in Team management and Branch Handling.
• Good understanding of SEBI/NSE/BSE rules and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and people development skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets.
