leading the billing team, ensuring the accuracy of enrollments and financial transactions, and driving process improvements

based in Chennai

primarily MST hours with 20% overlapping in IST

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Operations Management: Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for enrollments and services.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the billing team, providing training, support, and performance oversight.
• Enrollment & Account Oversight: Validate new enrollments, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and billing alignment.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with finance, customer support, and external agencies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between internal departments, government agencies, districts, and parents to ensure clarity and efficiency in billing operations.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Generate and analyze billing reports, reconciliation summaries, and audit records, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Process Improvement: Continuously refine billing procedures and workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and system integration.
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of international experience in billing, accounts, or finance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of billing processes, financial transactions, and reconciliation.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and experience with billing/accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for effective coordination with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve billing discrepancies and drive efficiency.
• Ability to work in a multi-entity organization and manage high volumes of data.
• Availability: Willingness to work primarily in MST hours, with flexibility for IST when required.
• Candidate MUST have experience in a North American company
