Bid Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager with expertise in managing end-to-end bidding processes for large-scale Government and Enterprise projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in e-Governance, Smart City, Safe City, Electronics, CCTV & Surveillance, and Digital Transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete bid management lifecycle, including pre-bid preparation, RFP analysis, proposal drafting, costing, and submission.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, operations, finance, legal, sales) to ensure timely and compliant bid submissions.
• Analyze tender documents, identify requirements, risks, and evaluation criteria to design winning strategies.
• Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals in line with customer needs and compliance standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSU clients, OEMs, and channel partners.
• Ensure competitive positioning by studying market trends, competitor analysis, and pricing models.
• Track government tenders, bids, and procurement portals for new opportunities in e-Governance, Smart City, Safe City, and related domains.
• Present proposals and engage with stakeholders during pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and legal frameworks in all proposals and contracts.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of e-Governance, Smart City, Safe City, CCTV & Surveillance, and Digital Transformation projects.
• Excellent understanding of government procurement processes, e-tendering, and RFP/RFQ handling.
• Strong project costing, estimation, and bid documentation skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to lead multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and bid management tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Business Management (MBA preferred)
• 7 to 12 years of experience in Bid Management / Pre-Sales / Proposal Management, preferably in Government Projects.
• Proven track record of handling large-scale multi-crore projects in Smart City, Safe City, CCTV & Surveillance, and Digital Transformation domains.
