We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Ahmedabad.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Bid Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the entire bidding process for various tenders, including government and private sector opportunities. The ideal candidate should have experience with the GEM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and a strong background in handling bids for large-scale projects, specifically in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end bidding process, from the initial stage of identifying tenders to the final submission of bids.
  • Monitor and search for relevant tender opportunities on GEM portal and other tendering platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with the tender requirements and guidelines.
  • Prepare and review bid documents, ensuring all technical, financial, and legal aspects are addressed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, finance, and production) to gather necessary information for bid submission.
  • Lead and facilitate pre-bid meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external consultants or vendors as required for bid submission.
  • Analyze and assess tender specifications and prepare cost estimations and proposals.
  • Ensure timely submission of all bids and related documents.
  • Track and update the progress of ongoing bids.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor and analyze tender results and provide feedback for continuous improvement in future bids.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in bid management, with specific expertise in GEM portal operations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Additional qualifications in project management or procurement would be a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using GEM portal for government tenders.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes, both for government and private sector contracts.
  • Strong understanding of technical specifications related to Diesel Generators or similar products.
  • Knowledge of legal and financial aspects of bid preparation and submission.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
