Business Development Manager – Kannada/Marathi/Tamil

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle business development across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu, converting qualified leads into long-term contracts.
  • Prospect, pitch, and close B2B/B2C opportunities through field visits, events, and targeted outbound campaigns.
  • Leverage Kannada, Marathi, or Tamil fluency to build trust, negotiate commercials, and tailor solutions to regional customer needs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline in CRM, forecasting revenue and reporting weekly progress to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to localise campaigns, collateral, and partner programs for maximum regional impact.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and consumer trends, feeding insights into go-to-market strategy.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 3+ years quota-carrying sales or business development experience in tech, fintech, edtech, SaaS, or FMCG.
  • Fluency in at least one target language—Kannada, Marathi, or Tamil—plus professional English.
  • Proven record exceeding revenue targets through consultative selling and value-based negotiations.
  • Hands-on expertise with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and data-driven pipeline management.

Preferred

  • Prior exposure to multi-state product launches or channel partner development.
  • Understanding of digital marketing funnels, lead-scoring, and ROI analysis.
