Job Description

As a Sales Professional for equipment finance, your main role will be to generate and develop new business through building relationships and executing financial transactions. You will focus on selling financial solutions to reputed Indian Customers in various industries such as Machine tools, Printing and Packaging Plastics, IT, Pharma & chemicals, F&B. Your target transactions will range between INR 100 Lacs to INR 25 Crore. The ideal candidate for this role should have 5-10 years of experience in the Indian Banking/FI sector selling Equipment Finance and Leasing to SMEs and Corporates. Key Responsibilities: - Represent SFSPL to potential SME/corporate clients through various communication channels - Spend 60-80% of your time meeting clients outside the office - Manage the sales process effectively from lead generation to negotiation and handover - Maintain a pipeline of potential business and ensure timely sales administration - Interact with other departments to ensure smooth operations - Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions - Have a basic understanding of financials and be able to screen transactions early - Convince the risk team on transaction risks and mitigants Relationships: - Vendor Management - Risk - Asset Management - Collections - Commercial and Legal The purpose of these relationships is to facilitate smooth interdepartmental communications for successful transaction activation and fulfilment. Qualifications and Experience: - 5-8 years of working experience in equipment financing, preferably in segments like Machine tools, Printing and Packaging, Plastic, Pharma in MSME and Mid Corporate segment - Essential: 3-5 years of external customer facing sales experience - Preferable: Experience in selling different asset types in B2B financing and working on small value transactions through manufacturers/suppliers - Preferable: Graduate & Computer literate Job Skills and Knowledge: - Proven success in sales and strong knowledge of the sales process - Confident negotiator with strong client management skills - Capable of problem-solving and generating solutions - Positive attitude towards researching and analysing new business opportunities - Excellent communication skills in various forms - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and across different cultures - Honesty, integrity, and a creative approach to problem-solving,
