Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Sales Head/AVP of Sales to lead and scale our sales function. This is not just a revenue-driving role; its a strategic leadership position responsible for building a structured, high-performance sales organization that aligns with our companys long-term goals.

The ideal candidate must be both a practitioner and a strategistsomeone who can close high-value deals, mentor a team, implement scalable methodologies and systems, and improve our overall sales culture. You will lead the transformation of our sales department into a world-class function.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and lead the execution of the companys overall sales strategy.
  • Establish clear sales goals, forecasts, and performance benchmarks.
  • Work with marketing and leadership to refine value propositions and go-to-market plans.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Design and deliver structured training programs for new and existing sales staff.
  • Implement a repeatable sales playbook and ensure consistent methodology across the team.

Sales Process, Tools & Systems

  • Introduce and optimize CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and data-driven performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with the AI/product team to co-develop custom internal tools.
  • Define and institutionalize best practices in lead nurturing, pipeline management, and client follow-up.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Lead by example in high-stakes client conversations.
  • Drive relationship management and client satisfaction post-conversion.
  • Handle escalations and complex negotiations when necessary.

Departmental Transformation & Thought Leadership

  • Identify structural weaknesses within the current sales organization.
  • Design initiatives to improve onboarding, productivity, and culture.
  • Elevate the teams use of psychological selling techniques and sales principles.
  • Act as a guiding force in shaping the departments trajectorynot just executing plans but creating them.
