Job Description

As an Assistant Vice President Sales at our company, you will be responsible for leading and expanding the sales team by developing strategic sales plans, building client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth across defined regions or sectors. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities. - Leading, mentoring, and managing regional or vertical sales teams to achieve targets and drive performance. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. - Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. - Collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams to create go-to-market strategies. - Analyzing sales metrics and generating regular reports for executive leadership. - Driving pipeline development and forecast accuracy using CRM and sales tools. - Ensuring compliance with pricing, policies, and contractual guidelines. - Representing the company at industry events, client meetings, and trade shows. - Assisting in budgeting, target setting, and annual business planning for the sales function. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 8-12 years of progressive experience in B2B/B2C sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment. - Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and pipeline management. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience: - Background in BPO Experience.
