The AVP Sales will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth across defined regions or sectors.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and manage regional or vertical sales teams to achieve targets and drive performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to create go-to-market strategies.
• Analyze sales metrics and generate regular reports for executive leadership.
• Drive pipeline development and forecast accuracy using CRM and sales tools.
• Ensure compliance with pricing, policies, and contractual guidelines.
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and trade shows.
• Assist in budgeting, target setting, and annual business planning for the sales function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in B2B / B2C sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and pipeline management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
