Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Associate Vice President – Sales to lead and drive the overall sales function across all verticals of Oxygen – The Digital Shop. This leadership role requires a seasoned sales professional with a strong understanding of digital retail, exceptional team management skills, and a proven track record in scaling revenues and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership:

Develop and implement robust sales strategies in alignment with company goals across product categories like mobiles, home appliances, IT, and small appliances.

  • Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team across multiple branches and regions. Set clear KPIs and review performance regularly.

  • Revenue Growth:

Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new sales opportunities, optimizing existing sales processes, and ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Retail Performance Oversight:

Monitor and improve retail store performance metrics including footfall conversion, average bill value, cross-category selling, and upselling.

  • Market Analysis & Expansion:

Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer behavior to drive expansion plans and introduce new products or services.

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience and brand consistency.

  • Tech Enablement:

Leverage technology and CRM systems to improve customer engagement, sales tracking, and team productivity.

  • Compliance & SOPs:

Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ethical sales practices across the sales network.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in digital or consumer retail.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large sales teams and multi-location retail operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for retail innovation and a customer-first approach.
