Role Description
The SAP Ariba Contract Senior Consultant is a critical role responsible for developments covering all aspects of development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, configuration and support for SAP Ariba Contract Management Solution including integration with SAP or non SAP applications in a project.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESArchitecting, designing and implement SAP Ariba Contract Management Solution successfully in customer organizations.Propose best practice procedures for handling of contracts throughout its lifecycle, amendments etc. Design and implement complex solutions for organization’s Contract Lifecycle ManagementLiaising with Customer, Solution Architect, Functional Consultants and Technical peers to achieve project goals within expected timelines.Provide SME support for business requirements across projectsMentoring Junior Team members within the OrganizationGuide business process and configuration design choices based on knowledge of Ariba capabilities and constraintsConduct user trainingFacilitate integration and user acceptance testingSupport business users with process or system issuesDrive and Assist with building Assets and Accelerators within SAP Ariba Practice for CoE.Build repository of custom development implemented by Bristlecone for unique business requirementsConduct trainings within Practice to build competency.Prepare and deliver demonstrations and presentations in support of sales cyclesHelp in Presales, RFP, Solution Design, Migration, Upgrade methodologyKeep up to date on the technology developmentUnderstands and ensures that quality standards are met
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE8 plus years of implementation experience in area of Ariba Strategic Sourcing space with minimum 2 years of full suite implementations4 plus years of full cycle implementations of Ariba Strategic SourcingExperience with all aspects of SAP Ariba Contracts ManagementMust have experience with integrating Ariba solutions with SAP and non SAP applicationsAriba Certification would be an added advantageTECHNICAL EXPERTISEPossesses thorough knowledge of SAP Ariba Contract Management Solution and various types of contracts and industry best practices.Thorough knowledge and hands on implementation experience with Contract Templates and Conditions administration, settings, configuration, along with all other aspects of Contracts administration, including Approval Process workflows downstreamAbility to architect an end to end solution while understanding the integration aspects between different modules within ARIBA Strategic Sourcing Suite as well as of Ariba Contract with ERP systemsAbility to work on complex development scenarios along with writing technical specifications for complex customizationsAbility to propose multiple workable solutions as per best practicesGood understanding of ECC or S4 Hana and ARIBA CONTRACT Master dataExperience in interacting with functional developers to provide daily operational support as well as solution implementation for enhancements and projectsExposure of Client discussions, Incident Resolution, New Development, CR Estimation, Solution Proposal
