Role

Pre‑Sales and Domain Consultant – Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance


Responsibilities


  • Solution Definition & Design

    - Design robust end-to-end P&C insurance solutions aligned with client requirements
  • Lead discovery sessions/workshops to identify business pain points and align solution value propositions
  • Proficient in functional solutioning, estimating effort, and understanding integrations in IT contexts
  • Bid Management & Proposals

    - Drive RFP/RFI responses: develop win themes, technical designs, competitive differentiation, pricing, and commercial models
  • Ability to estimate effort for insurance pursuits
  • Client Demo & PoCs

    - Deliver compelling demos, conference-room pilots, proof-of-concept (POC) sessions, and POCs showcasing P&C insurance domain capabilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    - Collaborate with sales, technical architects, delivery teams, and senior leadership to articulate solution value across functional and executive levels
  • Market & Product Feedback

    - Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product roadmap and solution enhancements
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, insurance domain shifts, and competitor solutions to maintain a competitive edge


Qualifications

  • Insurance Domain Expertise - 15+ years in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance with deep knowledge of insurance value chain, including underwriting, policy administration, product development, claims, Reinsurance and billing etc.
  • Pre‑Sales & Bid Experience - Demonstrated success in pre-sales roles: RFP/RFI preparation, proposal crafting, solutioning, value theme creation
  • Communication & Presentation - Strong presentation skills, able to deliver demos and workshops to both technical and business stakeholders including C-level


Required Skills

  • Familiarity with core insurance systems, SaaS/PaaS infrastructure, cloud, and digital platforms
  • Certifications or domain proficiency
  • Certifications in insurance products like Guidewire

Preferred Skills

  • Analytical mindset with strong solution orientation
  • Collaborative team player, adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • Holds a customer-first attitude and consultative sales approach
