Role Overview
The Financial Control & Reporting role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information through effective control procedures and robust reporting mechanisms. The role involves consolidating financial data, preparing management reports, conducting financial modeling, and analyzing both internal and external financial factors to support business decision-making.This position falls under the 
Professional Stream
, with an emphasis on applying technical and domain expertise. While not primarily people management-focused, the role may involve coaching or mentoring less experienced staff, providing informal supervision, and overseeing specific processes or deliverables.
Your Responsibilities Would Be:
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data through effective financial control procedures.
- Consolidate financial information and prepare timely, accurate financial and management reports.
- Performing financial analysis, including profit and loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, pricing, revenues, expenses, and rates of return.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support decision-making and forecasting.
- Analysing external economic conditions and assess their impact on business operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to influence tactical and strategic business decisions.
- Supporting process improvements and contribute to the strengthening of internal controls.
- Mentoring and guide junior team members where required, ensuring quality and accuracy in deliverables.
 
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience in financial control, reporting, or a related function.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial systems, ERP tools, and advanced Excel/financial modeling.
