Key Responsibilities

As an AVP - Software Architect at Natixis, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with various stakeholders to clarify business needs and detect dependencies, impediments, and potential risks.
• Capturing functional and non-functional requirements and designing technical solutions leveraging the Spring Framework along with REST Architecture.
• Ensuring the overall quality and fit of the technical solution in addition to the overall performance of the application stack.
• Overseeing the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design, development principles, and deadlines.
• Providing technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers through efficient code reviews.

Required Skills

To be a great fit for this role, you should have:

• Strong expertise in system design and architecture, with the ability to develop high-level designs and architectural blueprints.
• Proven experience in establishing and enforcing coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices across development teams.
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration skills, capable of translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Technical leadership and mentorship abilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Deep understanding of non-functional requirements focusing on scalability, performance, and security.

Experience

• 12+ years of overall experience in the IT industry, specifically in technical architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in the infrastructure domain with a focus on technical architecture and cloud-oriented solutions.
• Proven experience managing or working with JAVA and React JS frameworks.
• Strong experience in API architecture, Event Driven Architecture, and DevOps practices using tools like Terraform.
• Experience in analyzing new requirements, designing technical architecture, and implementing effective solutions.
