Key Responsibilities

As an AVP - Release Manager at Natixis, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to plan release schedules and resource allocation.
  • Creating and maintaining release plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Organizing and facilitating release meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives and schedules.
  • Ensuring the availability of the correct application versions in each environment and managing the availability of all environments (PROD, Pre-PROD & HML) for testing.
  • Analyzing release impacts on existing systems and functionality within the Odessa platform, identifying potential risks and issues, and collaborating with technical teams to mitigate them.
  • Developing and executing strategies to ensure that releases meet quality standards and do not introduce new issues.
  • Maintaining clear and detailed documentation related to release processes, including release notes, change logs, and issue tracking.
  • Monitoring system performance and user feedback post-release to address any unforeseen issues and conducting post-mortem meetings to discuss successes and areas for improvement.
  • Acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication of release status and requirements.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end release cycle of Odessa, ensuring all steps are followed and documented appropriately.

Required Skills

To be a great fit for this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience in release management within an IT environment.
  • Proficiency with change management processes and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess impacts and risks associated with releases.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.


Experience

  • 8 to 11 years of overall experience in IT and release management.
  • Significant experience specifically managing or working with release processes, ideally within the financial services sector or related technology.
