Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Finance is a critical corporate-level position responsible for supporting the financial health, reporting integrity, and compliance framework of the CGH Earth Group.This role requires a technically strong and detail-oriented professional capable of managing the consolidation process for a diverse portfolio of leisure and wellness entities, ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate governance norms.The individual will serve as a key resource in providing accurate financial intelligence for senior management decision-making.

Key Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements at the corporate level.
  • Ensure timely consolidation of accounts for all group companies, encompassing both the Leisure and Wellness verticals.
  • Assist in comprehensive variance analysis and the preparation of detailed MIS reports for executive review.
  • Ensure all financial reporting complies with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS / AS).

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the Assistant GM Finance in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic rolling forecasts for group entities.
  • Track actual vs. budget performance across group units and highlight key deviations and underlying business drivers to the management.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate efficiently with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax auditors during all audit cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Support in the preparation and submission of ROC filings and maintain thorough documentation for corporate governance.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor cash flow and analyse working capital requirements across group units to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in fund allocation and manage day-to-day banking operations and reconciliation at the corporate office.

Taxation & Regulatory

  • Prepare and review all direct and indirect tax returns, including GST returns and TDS returns, and support direct tax compliance.
  • Handle complex reconciliations of input tax credits, vendor payments, and inter-company transactions to ensure tax accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns, including Income Tax Return ( ITR ) filings and Goods and Services Tax ( GST ) filings.

Process & Control

  • Implement and strengthen robust internal controls, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and accounting systems across the group.
  • Coordinate with unit-level finance teams to ensure consistency and adherence to corporate accounting policies and reporting timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
  • Professional qualification such as CA is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, with exposure to corporate consolidation, statutory audit coordination, and multi-unit reporting, preferably within the Hospitality or a similar multi-entity industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Ind AS/AS, Corporate Tax, GST, and TDS.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with corporate ERP systems.
  • Competencies: Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
