Job Description

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for data visualization. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI. Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, and views for efficient reporting. Integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and other third-party platforms. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and visualizations. Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards that meet business needs and enhance decision-making. Perform data analysis and provide insights on business trends and KPIs. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards. Work with the development and business teams to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and SQL queries. Continuously monitor performance and optimize Power BI reports for efficiency and usability. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field. 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development and SQL. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard creation. Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and database management. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases. Solid understanding of ETL processes and data transformation techniques. Proficiency in data visualization principles and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Knowledge of Power Query and data integration techniques. Familiarity with version control systems and deployment processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other data visualization tools like Tableau or QlikView is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation is a plus. Certification in Power BI or SQL is a bonus.
