Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, redline, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor contracts, and client service agreements.
  • Ensure contract terms align with organizational policies and business objectives.
  • Identify and highlight key risks in contracts and propose practical solutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the team on complex contract reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Associates/Senior Associates to ensure quality delivery and efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and drive continuous improvement in contract management practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, procurement, and business teams) to support commercial and operational requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts and oversee usage of contract management systems/tools.
What will help you succeed in this role?

Skills & Qualifications

  • Law graduate (LLB/LLM) - mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of experience in contract management, with hands-on expertise in redlining and negotiation.
  • People management experience - minimum 1-2 years of leading or mentoring a team.
  • Strong knowledge of contract structures, commercial terms, and legal drafting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with contract management tools.
