Role Overview - HR - Femal candidates only The Senior Assistant Manager – HR will be responsible for overseeing core HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and policy implementation. The role demands strong leadership, people management, and the ability to drive HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage end-to-end recruitment for mid-level and senior roles. Coordinate with stakeholders to understand manpower requirements. Oversee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs. 2. Employee Relations & Engagement Build strong employee connect and address grievances proactively. Drive engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention. Support managers in handling employee-related issues fairly and effectively. 3. Performance Management Support in driving the PMS cycle (goal setting, mid-year, and annual reviews). Provide guidance to managers on appraisal processes and feedback sessions. 4. Compliance & Policy Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.). Maintain updated HR policies and ensure smooth implementation. Liaise with legal and compliance teams as required. 5. Payroll & HR Operations Coordinate payroll inputs and validate data for accuracy. Oversee leave, attendance, and time-office management. Maintain employee records and HRMS data accuracy. 6. HR Strategy & Projects Assist in creating and executing HR strategies aligned with business goals. Support organizational change management initiatives. Lead or participate in HR projects (e.g., digitization, culture building). Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools. Qualifications & Experience MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent. 3–4 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role. Prior exposure to handling end-to-end HR functions in a mid to large-sized organization preferred.
