Job Title: Assistant Account Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Accounts/ Finance Head
Location: Unnao.

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Account Manager supports the Accounts Manager in overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting records, assisting in financial reporting, tax compliance, and supporting audits. The role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations:
  • Maintain accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Prepare, verify, and post invoices, bills, and vouchers.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support in drafting profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Help prepare financial statements for internal and external audits.
  • Taxation & Compliance:
  • Assist in timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory returns.
  • Maintain records for audit and tax compliance.
  • Support in maintaining proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Payroll & Employee Reimbursements:
  • Coordinate salary processing and employee reimbursements.
  • Maintain records for employee advances, deductions, and settlements.
  • Audit Support:
  • Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist in audit documentation.
  • MIS & Reporting:
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports as required by management.
  • Provide insights or alerts on discrepancies or unusual transactions.
  • Coordination & Support:
  • Work closely with banks, vendors, internal departments, and external consultants.
  • Support senior management with required data and analysis.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance / CA Inter
  • Experience: 2–5 years in accounting or finance roles in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of Indian taxation laws and statutory requirements is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
