Manage procurement of reflective tapes, zippers, buttons, snaps, Velcro, interlinings, labels, and packaging material. Ensure trims comply with technical requirements of protective garments. Vendor Development & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for fabrics and trims. Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules. Maintain vendor performance records and ensure timely supply. Inventory & Planning: Plan purchases in line with production schedules and sales orders. Maintain optimum stock levels for fabrics, threads, trims, and accessories. Work closely with production and warehouse teams to track consumption and forecast requirements. Quality & Compliance: Work with QC team to ensure all raw materials meet customer and certification requirements. Coordinate for lab testing of fabrics (colorfastness, shrinkage, flammability, etc.). Ensure compliance with buyer standards and international norms. Candidate ProfileGraduate in Textiles / Apparel / Supply Chain or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement in a garmenting unit (preferably workwear or protective clothing). Strong knowledge of fabrics, sewing threads, reflective tapes, trims, and accessories used in workwear. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
