Assistant Accounts Manager

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Timings: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Accounts Assistant to support our finance team at the Lower Parel office. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and assisting in the preparation of reports and statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain all accounting transactions in Focus accounting software.
• Handle purchase, sales, and journal entries with accuracy.
• Manage vendor payments, petty cash, and bank & ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal departments for required documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and vouchers.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Similar Applications and MS Excel.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
