Area Sales Manger: (1-2 Years Experience) Company Overview: WoowLocal is a rapidly growing local e-commerce marketplace in Tirunelveli, connecting local buyers and sellers through innovative 15-minute local delivery and in-store pickup services. Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new merchants, expanding customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses and customers. Key Responsibilities: Merchant Acquisition & Onboarding Identify and approach local businesses (retailers, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies) to join WoowLocal platform Conduct presentations and demonstrations to potential merchant partners Negotiate partnership terms and commission structures Guide new merchants through the onboarding process and platform setup Maintain a pipeline of 20-30 potential merchant prospects Customer Acquisition & Retention Develop strategies to attract new customers to the WoowLocal platform Conduct door-to-door marketing and community outreach programs Organize promotional events and local marketing campaigns Handle customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues Build and maintain relationships with key customers in assigned territories Sales Target Achievement Achieve monthly merchant acquisition targets (10-15 new merchants per month) Meet customer registration goals and transaction volume targets Generate revenue through commission-based sales from merchant partnerships Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics Maintain conversion rates of leads to active merchants/customers Market Research & Analysis Conduct competitor analysis and market research in Tirunelveli region Identify emerging market trends and customer preferences Provide feedback on pricing strategies and service improvements Map local market opportunities and untapped business segments Relationship Management Maintain regular communication with existing merchant partners Conduct periodic business reviews and identify upselling opportunities Handle merchant complaints and ensure satisfaction Coordinate with delivery partners and logistics team for smooth operations Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or local services Strong communication skills in Tamil and English Knowledge of Tirunelveli local market and business landscape Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software Two-wheeler driving license mandatory Preferred Skills: Experience in B2B sales and merchant partnerships Understanding of digital platforms and e-commerce operations Relationship building and negotiation skills Goal-oriented with proven track record of meeting targets Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Yearly bonus Experience: Field sales: 1 year (Preferred) Location: Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu (Preferred) Work Location: In person
