Area Collections Manager

Job Title: Area Collection Manager – Business Loans.
Location: Bhubaneswar, OdishaEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Area Collection Manager to lead and manage the collections portfolio for our Business Loans vertical in Bhubaneswar and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in collections, recovery processes, team handling, and strong market knowledge of the region.Key Responsibilities:Manage and monitor collections of business loan portfolio for the assigned area.Drive performance of a team of field collection officers to achieve monthly targets.Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and regulatory guidelines in collections.Implement effective collection strategies to minimize delinquency and improve recovery rates.Handle escalations, negotiate settlements, and resolve disputes with professionalism.Maintain strong liaison with legal, credit, and risk teams for effective case resolution.Prepare and present MIS reports on portfolio performance and collection efficiency.Ensure high standards of customer interaction while focusing on collection.Key Requirements:Graduate / Postgraduate with 5–8 years of relevant experience in collections (Business Loans / SME Loans preferred).Strong knowledge of local market dynamics in Bhubaneswar and nearby regions.Proven ability in team management, agency handling, and field collections.Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.Result-oriented with a problem-solving approach.Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
