Job Description

As an Automation Project Manager with 5 - 7 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute automation projects efficiently. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities and essential qualifications: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and timelines in alignment with business goals. Creating detailed project plans for automation initiatives, managing end-to-end delivery, and acting as a single point of contact between technical teams, leadership, and customers. You will also collaborate with various teams to identify tasks suitable for automation and ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define project scope, objectives, and timelines for automation initiatives. - Create detailed project plans including tasks, resources, dependencies, and milestones. - Manage end-to-end delivery of automation solutions. - Act as a single point of contact between technical teams, leadership, and customers. - Collaborate with operations, engineering, and process owners to identify tasks suitable for automation. - Coordinate with developers, testers, and infrastructure teams for timely task execution. - Identify potential risks and define mitigation plans. - Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external regulations. - Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, designs, test plans, and runbooks. - Recommend process improvements through automation. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and introduce innovative solutions. - Prepare Dashboards in Smartsheet for VP/Directors using existing project intake. **Qualification Required:** - Mandatory skills in Smartsheet, PMP/Prince2 certification, and ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification. - Prior experience in managed services with enterprise clients. - Experience in Automation & DevOps. - Knowledge of technology fundamentals and trends. - Strong business acumen and analytical skills. - Ability to influence across and up, achieving expected business outcomes. - Leadership skills to form and lead teams to successful outcomes. - Agile approach in personal work style. - Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. This role requires a degree in a related technical field and a minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex and transformative IT programs and projects.
