About the team The Analytics team at smallcase operates as a central analytics function, catering to all product lines and business verticals. We work in a pod structure, with dedicated product and business pods, ensuring focused and high-impact analytics support across the organization. Currently, our team consists of 8 members, each handling multiple projects simultaneously, driving insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making. We thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with stakeholders to solve complex problems. About the role We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Analytics Intern to join our Central Analytics team. You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineers to turn raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making across teams. What you’ll be doing Product Feature Support: Collaborate with Product Managers to support the discovery of new features, design clickstream analytics instrumentation, and test new product features for data accuracy and completeness. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, and provide detailed reports and actionable insights on both new features and existing KPIs. Automation: Automate recurring business reports and data pipelines using Python and scheduling tools like Airflow, Jupyter Notebooks Collaboration : Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product teams and engineers on tracking and analytics requirements. Build dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, SQL, and Visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Redash, Amplitude). Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g., product, marketing, user engagement). What we're looking for Pursuing/completed a degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science). Basic proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets Interest or basic exposure to analytics tools such as Python/R, Tableau, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and work independently. Nice to-haves Prior internship/project work in data or analytics (specifically clickstream analytics) Experience with tools such AWS, Tableau or clickstream analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude. Basic Knowledge on NoSQL Querying on mongoDb databases.
