The company is co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore.About the Role:The role of a Senior Analyst in Data Analytics involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support business decision-making. Senior Analysts are responsible for developing and implementing data models, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives.They often collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven solutions, leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. Additionally, Senior Analysts play a key role in developing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and communicating findings to stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze tell a story from large amounts of complex data using different tools and data analysis techniques
- Define, measure, and monitor KPIs, with a focus on experimentation and incremental improvements
- Construct dash boards and tools that enable non-analysts to explore data on their own
- Develop new and maintain existing suite of dash boards to ensure quality and accuracy of reporting meets evolving business requirements
- Support strategic planning processes through building models to forecast different operational scenarios and impacts to our business
- Interface with cross-functional teams to gather information, prepare MIS reports and track performance
- Undertake strategic finance projects to improve company performance
- Support ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in analytical roles such as data analyst or business analyst
- Expertise in programming languages like Python, SQL, MS Excel. Proficiency in MongoDB queries is a plus
- Experience with BI tools like Metabase or Tableau
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify trends and propose solutions
- Experience in creating interactive dashboards and easily understandable data visualizations, preferably using Tableau
- Well organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent collaboration skills, working with various departments and individuals to achieve solutions that drive revenue growth
- Comfortable presenting findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and non-technical disciplines
