Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production activities, ensuring achievement of production targets and KPIs.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules and resource utilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement in production processes (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, etc.).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams – Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and SCM.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production teams and supervisors.
  • Analyze production data and implement strategies for reducing downtime, waste, and cost.
  • Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
  • Support new product development and process validations.
  • Manage workforce discipline, morale, and efficiency on the shop floor.


Requirements:

  • Education:

    B.Tech/B.E.– Mechanical, Production, or relevant field

  • Experience:

    12–15 years in manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior manager/AGM role
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower handling, and operational controls
  • Hands-on with ERP systems, MIS reporting, and shop floor digital tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
