Responsibilities
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications
- Resolve and fix production incidents involving site availability, service disruptions.
- Complete user requests including user access requests, system config changes, reports, etc Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
- Analyze a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Log all service request and incident details
- Respond to a reported service incident, identifying the cause, and initiating the incident management process
- Prioritize incidents according to their urgency and influence on the business
- Automate the Service requests that happen frequently thus improving business and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical qualification or professional experience.
- 5+ years of Azure Cloud infrastructure experience in a mission-critical environment
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis
- Handsons experience with API testing tool such as Postman
- Experience working with relation and non-relation databased, including PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB,
- SQL DB/Postgres DB
- 5+ Experience with production infrastructure as an SRE (DevOps engineer or production engineer)
