Job Description

Processing purchase orders, travel bills, cash advances, bills, etc, in IISc's SAP system
Oversee centre's daily operations including personnel and administrative functions
Coordination with other administrative and helper staff
Organization of meetings, seminars, travel arrangements, booking accommodation etc
Travel within IISc to coordinate with other departments, purchase, and finance sections
Administrative support on student academic activities
Ordering and maintenance of equipment and facilitiess
Serve as a point of contact for all general centre's enquiries

Educational qualification and preferred skills:

BA / BSc / MA / MSc / MBA / MCA / BCom / MCom / Other relevant degree
Experience with IISc's SAP software, and accounting knowledge
Comfortable working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel
Proficiency (written and spoken) in English to assist in drafting letters, etc
Ability to speak Kannada is a plus
Should be able to multitask and handle high volume of work, with short timelines
Experience working in educational institutions
Knowledge of administrative functions in IISc

Terms and Conditions:

Salary will be commensurate with background and experience, according to IISc norms
Position designation can be Secretarial Assistant, Program Coordinator, or other suitable name, based on qualifications and IISc norms
